Day 1
Thursday 22 July: Home pick-ups to Orange
We'll collect you from your door for our winter escape west, settling in for a scenic run through the Central West with a few carols playing to set the mood. Our first stop is Wellington, home to the Osawano Japanese Gardens, where we'll wander the manicured grounds, the man made mountain and the reflection lake before a picnic lunch. From here we continue to Orange, arriving at our accommodation in the afternoon with time to relax and settle in before dinner together.

Day 2
Friday 23 July: Christmas in July at The Oriana
After breakfast, we set out to discover Orange and its surrounding countryside, beginning with a sightseeing tour taking in the town's historic streets, grand homes, parks and gardens. We then travel to Mortimers Wines for a wine tasting and lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, whether that's browsing the local shops, relaxing at the hotel or simply enjoying a warm coffee before this evening's festive celebration.
Tonight we enjoy a very special Christmas in July celebration at The Oriana. We begin beside the fire pits with mulled wine, before taking our seats in the beautifully decorated Peacock Room for a traditional Christmas feast with pudding, always a highlight for travellers who have joined us on tour before. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy some Christmas cheer in the middle of winter, surrounded by good food, good company and plenty of festive atmosphere.

Day 3
Saturday 24 July: Millthorpe and Philip Shaw Wines
Today we depart on a guided tour of Orange's heritage listed Cook Park, famous for its seasonal floral displays and the Blowes Conservatory. We'll visit Bastick Cottage and browse locally handcrafted goods before travelling to the charming village of Millthorpe. We enjoy a sightseeing tour and explore the Golden Memories Museum, featuring rural technology, pioneer exhibits and Australian inventions.
After lunch at Millthorpe Providore, we return to Orange via Philip Shaw Wines, sampling regional wines paired with local cheese before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4
Sunday 25 July: Orange to home
After breakfast and check out, we farewell Orange and begin our journey home. Our first stop is Bathurst, Australia's oldest inland European settlement and home to one of the country's most famous sporting landmarks. We take a scenic drive around Mount Panorama, the iconic circuit made famous by the Bathurst 1000. Following lunch in Lithgow, we settle in and enjoy the scenery on our way back towards Newcastle, arriving home in the late afternoon.
