Your 6-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Sunday: Home pick-ups to Nowra
We depart this morning on our decorated Christmas coach, enjoying festive carols and a morning tea stop along the way. Our journey takes us to Bulli Lookout for panoramic views over the Illawarra escarpment. At Shellharbour Airport, we explore the HARS Aviation Museum with a guided tour before enjoying lunch at the on-site cafe. We continue through the scenic towns of Kiama and Berry before checking into our motel in Nowra. Dinner is served at the motel this evening.

Day 2
Monday: Mogo Wildlife Park to Eden
After breakfast, we visit Mogo Wildlife Park, home to Australia’s largest collection of primates. Wander among zebras, giraffes and rhinos or explore the beautifully landscaped grounds. Enjoy some time in the quaint town of Mogo to browse the shops and purchase lunch (own cost).
This afternoon, we travel south with a break in Cobargo before settling in at our accommodation in Eden for a three-night stay. Dinner is at the motel tonight.

Day 3
Tuesday: Christmas Day in Eden
It’s Christmas in July and the celebrations begin at the Eden Killer Whale Museum with a guided tour. We visit St Mary MacKillop Church, the Shiralee Memorial Wall and enjoy coastal views from Rotary Park Lookout. At Boydtown, we’re treated to a lunch at the historic Seahorse Inn. Return to Eden for an afternoon at leisure before reuniting for a festive Christmas dinner with all the trimmings at the motel.

Day 4
Wednesday: Whale cruise and oysters
Today starts with a scenic cruise on Twofold Bay with Cat Balou Cruises, taking in Boyd’s Tower, whaling station sites and wildlife. Next, we visit Wheeler’s Oyster Farm in Merimbula for a fish and chip lunch and a tasting of fresh Sydney Rock Oysters. A relaxed afternoon drive takes us through Merimbula’s stunning beaches and lookouts before heading back to the motel for dinner.

Day 5
Thursday: Eden to Canberra
We farewell the Sapphire Coast after breakfast and head inland, stopping at Nimmitabel for morning tea. In Canberra, we visit the Canberra Space Centre at Paddy’s Creek for a guided tour and enjoy a packed lunch from the motel. This afternoon, we explore the National Arboretum including a guided gallery walk and bonsai collection.
After checking into our Canberra motel, we dine early before an exclusive after-hours visit to the magical ‘Under the Mistletoe’ Christmas shop.

Day 6
Friday: Canberra to home
Our final day takes us through the quaint village of Bungendore, known for its colonial charm and antiques. We continue to Bowral for a visit to the Bradman Museum and The International Cricket Hall of Fame a must-see for cricket fans and Australian history enthusiasts. Our journey concludes over lunch at Mittagong RSL before meeting transfer vehicles for return to your front door.
