Your 4-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Monday: Newcastle to Batemans Bay
We begin our coastal getaway with a scenic drive from Newcastle, travelling through the Southern Highlands. Morning tea will be served along the way before reaching Moss Vale for a relaxing picnic lunch in a local park. From here, we follow the Kings Highway via Braidwood to Batemans Bay, where we check into the Lincoln Downs Resort, our home for the next 3 nights. Enjoy a warm welcome from your hosts before settling in and gathering for dinner at the resort’s restaurant.

Day 2
Tuesday: Sights & River Cruise
After breakfast, we board our coach for a guided tour of the local area, discovering the sights and stories of Batemans Bay. We then step aboard the MV Merinda for a peaceful Clyde River lunch cruise, passing historic Nelligen and scenic oyster leases while enjoying a delicious fish and chips lunch on board.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace—browse the local shops, relax at a café, or take a swim back at the resort. The coach will collect those staying in town later in the day.

Day 3
Wednesday: Mogo Wildlife Park & Historic Braidwood
After breakfast, we visit Mogo Wildlife Park, home to endangered animals from around the world including Australia’s largest collection of primates as well as giraffes, zebras, and Southern White rhinos roaming savannah-style enclosures. Then it’s on to Mogo township for lunch and a browse. In the afternoon, we tour historic Braidwood, with its old pubs, churches, and local shops. A peaceful drive with views brings us back to our accommodation.

Day 4
Thursday: Home via Kiama & Fleet Air Arm Museum
We bid farewell to Batemans Bay and head north along the coast. Our first stop is the fascinating Fleet Air Arm Museum at HMAS Albatross, showcasing naval aviation history, aircraft displays, and incredible aviation memorabilia. Continuing on, we reach the seaside town of Kiama, famous for its natural Blowhole. Enjoy a picnic lunch here before continuing our journey homeward, arriving in Newcastle in the late afternoon.
